Day 1 & 2: PAINTING HEAD & FIGURE STUDIES
Day 3, 4, 5: PAINTING A MULTIFIGURE COMPOSITION
On Wednesday we will sketch and paint from life 2 models posing together. In the afternoon we will block in both figures on a 16 x 20 inch canvas and on Thursday and Friday, we will develop the painting. Attention will be given to perspective, foreshortening, the relationship of shapes, values, color and textures, as well as painting technique. Above all we will be concerned with the realistic expression of the concept. Max will be demoing intermittedly throughout the workshop.
